Anna Paquin was on Larry King and he went right for the "how can you be bisexual and monogamous" question.  I love her response.  Your orientation is always there - you choose to be monogamous.  You never stop being you:

Bisexual and monogamous

Anna Paquin's matter-of-fact answers were spot on. If we choose to be monogamous, our orientation doesn't matter. Bisexual people aren't 'compelled' to act on their same-sex attractions any more than they have to act on every hetero attraction. The same, of course, goes for straight and gay people.

Bisexual and not monogamous

Sure, I think bisexual people can be monogamous, if it is what they want and choose. I have also read accounts of bisexuals who do feel compelled to act on their same-sex attractions when they are in monogamous hetero relationships, and they do so. Sometimes they work out arrangements with their hetero partners, so they can act on their desires outside of the relationship, if their partners choose to stay. Then it becomes...polyamory? Not sure of an easy label. It's complex. I also know two bisexual poly people who met each other, and decided to be a monogamous couple. They're engaged to be married.
